Every now and then a porno comes along that's so mind-blowingly before it's time, it either sends the audience walking away scratching their heads, or whipping out their meat and bashing along. Hot House have released the Director's Expanded Edit of Scarborough's masterpiece, containing previously unseen material. A work of such frustrating logic - it was either created by a genius, a madman or someone with a deep desire to be both - it pulled Aiden Shaw briefly out of retirement. Descent is a moody, high-concept, non-narrative, visual voyage down the rabbit hole of Shaw's mind. As the dvd opens, Shaw is running down the street of some urban jungle and jumps into a dumpster that transports him to some sort of limbo for the mind, body, and soul. Computer generated f/x kick in until finally Shaw settles into a very brightly lit white void where he gets tied up and buzz cut from butch barber Zak Anders. Also in this white void are Todd Gibbs and Chris Rock. Shaw's thick, classic cock goes to work as Rock gives him a real rockin' blowjob, in vivid color. Meanwhile, Gibbs and Anders flip-flop fuck in black and white. Not to be outdone, Rock sits on Shaw's schlong and they too fuck. Ultimately, everyone cums all over Shaw, leaving him very whitewashed. After more chants and narration, Shaw finds himself with Marcus Iron in a huge bed. Things now get even more weird as a group of men in monk-like robes and hoods descend a staircase. The figures morph into Mark Mason, Clay Powell, Damian Ford, Nick Moore, and Rick Allen, all naked on the roof of a building. The conclusion finds Shaw, surrounded by the monks, digging his own grave and lying in it. Shortly, we are hit with rapid-fire images of Shaw screaming like a madman, breaking down the white void, to find himself in Paradise, where he and Iron romp in the surf. Descent is erotically provocative, thought inducing, and a bit pretentious. It is a weirdly cool artistic triumph, a visual trip, and an unforgettable vehicle in which to star the aloof, iconic Brit Aiden Shaw. The Collectors Edition second disc of extras makes this a true classic package.
